Route an incoming number
Map an exact incoming DID to a destination within the intended tenant.
01Confirm the trunk and number
A platform administrator configures the trunk. Confirm the exact DID delivered by the upstream system. A leading plus sign is significant; no number normalization is implicit.
02Choose the destination
Create the destination before adding its DID route. The documented preview supports extension, ring group, IVR, queue and conference destinations. Verify that all referenced resources belong to the intended tenant.
03Apply and test
Have a platform administrator apply the telephony changes. Place an authorized inbound test call and verify the intended destination, audio and any menu or queue behavior. External trunk interoperability and full end-to-end feature validation remain preview work.
